Job Description:
Prices, purchases, supplies and warehouses tubular goods and equipment used for drilling and production operations.
Duties/Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Sources, locates and negotiates the purchase of tubular good and equipment.
Coordinates logistics of material shipments.
Works with drilling and production engineers to forecast tubular and equipment requirements.
Manages warehouse inventory levels at minimal levels.
Optimally divests surplus tubulars and equipment.
Negotiates and maintains MRO with major suppliers.
Maintains good relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
Keeps abreast of new technology and products.
Monitor quality control of suppliers and manufacturers.
Monitors materials transfers. Works closely with accounting.
Experience / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
College degree a plus.
