Function Note:
Our client, a leading Engineering Procurement Consulting company in Canada, with technical expertise in a wide range of civil and industrial projects has a current requirement for a Senior Hydrogeologist to carry out Project Management duties and related mentoring on various projects. Project work will be based locally but could be carried out locally, regionally, throughout Canada and beyond.
Accountabilities:
- Execute projects related to the development of geohydrological, geotechnical, geological or geophysical data acquisition, analysis and mapping;
- Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination and prepare recommendations and reports for remediation of contaminated sites
- Specific responsibilities will vary based on type of project but may include
- Design, research and development, quality assurance and control, installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities.
Requirement Note:
- Requirement Note: General Skills / Knowledge / Attributes
- Minimum 8-10 years related experience;
- Degree in a related field such as Hydrogeology, Geological or Geotechnical;
- P.Geo or P.Eng., designation is required;
- Experience in groundwater modeling, waste site monitoring and approvals;
- Expertise in specification / technical writing;
- Experience in ESA's (Phase I,II,III);
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and a dedicated team member;
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written including appropriate software packages.
