Responsible for reconciliation of and processing of all entries on various SA bank accounts
Brief Description of the role
Reconcile the Receipts/Payments bank account for [Company]
Key accountabilities
- Process entries via journal to the ISPA payment general ledger account
- To handle all queries in respect of the bank accounts.
- Resolve queries and exceptions with banks, depots , BU’ and CCC.
- Provide cover and assistance as required for all other roles in the Treasury and Banking process stream. Assist with Ad-hoc request from the Treasury and Banking Lead.
- Match split batches from bank to general ledger
- Extract various reports from ISPA system to minimise reconciliation items , check for duplications
- Key challenges faced on the role (In relation to section above)
Essential criteria & qualifications
Matric with basic accounting.
2 – 3 years relevant experience in accounting or in Treasury and Banking.
