Role synopsis
The role of Maintenance Co-ordinator within the [Company] Maintenance team is a challenging and rewarding position. The interaction and relationship building with contractors and internal staff gives an ideal grounding for a career within[Company] .
Key accountabilities
- Actively seek and assess opportunities to reduce maintenance expenditure without compromising levels of service.
- Ensure that all Maintenance and Service negotiations utilise standard [Company] processes and meet business requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance and provide / improve ongoing management reporting.
- Provide direction and support to Field personnel and act as the first point of contact in the implementation of maintenance contracts and procedures.
- Ensure all contractors meet agreed levels and quality of Goods and Services provided.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial long term relationships.
- Assist in the management and development of Maintenance Management Systems.
- Strategically contribute to [Company] Retail Maintenance Performance Targets.
- Support and deliver robust cost management / reporting and minimize business risk via rigorous contract management control.
- Understand business requirements for all maintenance related goods and services and ensure these requirements are cost effectively met and comply with all Code of Conduct and HSSE Obligations.
Essential criteria & qualifications
- A high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills are essential to achieve results in many diverse areas, both within and external to the company.
- Sound judgement, effective delegation and decisiveness are also essential skills required to effectively perform the role.
- High level of independence combined with initiative is required due to the nature of the work.
- Well developed computer literacy skills.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
- Understanding of SAP financial systems.
- Experience within a maintenance environment or similar.
- Trade background in general building, refrigeration, or air conditioning.
