Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Sales Leader for the Permian Basin Marketplace. This position will be based in Midland, TX.
Responsibilities:
Developing relationships and contacting customer decision makers to generate business for Key
Preparing written reports, cost benefit solution-oriented presentations, sales and price quotations
Ensuring systematic delivery and resolution of customer inquiries, customer information or information about customer satisfaction to appropriate Key personnel/departments
Developing, demonstrating and delivering value cases for different levels of customer organizations
Developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales, products, and/or services across LOB’s
Assessing potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs
Conducting intelligence gathering on current and customers and competitors in all LOB’s
Identifying and capturing new business opportunities
Directing activities of identified team members and/or direct reports including ensuring communication and compliance with company policies
Assisting in the coordination of training, professional development, coaching, feedback and evaluation
Developing positive relationships with other employees in marketing, operations, product development, and other departments as needed
Identifying decision makers in assigned accounts and ensures adequate resource coverage in assigned area of responsibility
Recommending product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
Communicating with Operations to understand activity levels, pricing, equipment utilization and competitive issues and opportunity plans to drive proper selling tactics
Providing technical support to other BD personnel as needed to address customer needs or pursue business
Communicating customer feedback into future product developments
Using technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales
Representing Key in the marketplace through various industry organizations and events
Being well informed of current industry trends, opportunities, products and competitive issues
Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars, trade shows and professional organizations as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience
Excellent business prospecting skills and strong negotiation skills
Strong relationship builder skills
Excellent communication and managerial skills
Ability to function in a high pressure environment with the ability to respond well to high level of stress
Prior energy services sales experience
Prior sales management experience a plus
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with people
Must be available and willing to travel on a regular basis, if needed
