Job Description:
Independently plans EHS assignments with substantial latitude for actions and decisions within company policies and guidelines. Work as M&M lead on air permitting and regulatory issues. Ensure company operations comply with all EHS requirements.
Carries out relative complex EHS projects and assignments independently. May function as a project leader for certain EHS assignments. Analyzes EHS regulations, explains the requirements, and coordinates the development and implementation of applicable programs for cost effective compliance. May direct or manage EHS contractors or consultants. Represents the Company at regulatory hearings or meetings. May represent the Company in trade associations to promote the Company’s position related to EHS and learn about other companies’ activities that may benefit the Company. May be the technical expert on air regulations and other environmental issues. May conduct due diligence investigations on acquisitions and divestitures. Mentor to other EHS Specialists.

Details Specific to this Job:
- Minimum 8 years air permitting experience.
- Experience in handling other oil and gas environmental matters a plus Must possess high-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Sciences, Engineering, or related field May be required to travel on short notice.
