Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Measures, describes, computes, analyzes and integrates geologic/scientific data. Must be able to competently perform all or some of the following: thin section petrography, scanning electron microscopy, sedimentological core description, X-ray diffraction data interpretation and well log analysis. Integrates analyses with other geological/geochemical parameters and generates detailed, integrated reports. Interfaces with clients to discuss analytical results or set up projects. Maintains active role in professional and industry associations and organizations to stay abreast of technical development and industry needs.
Experience / Qualifications:
Master’s degree in geology or related field and 5 years directly related experience; or Bachelor degree in geology or related field with 8 plus years directly related experience.
