Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Training for the position of PVT Laboratory Technician requires performing the following duties: Learn to perform all aspects of lab work pertaining to PVT studies such as, bubble point, lash work, and transfers. Learn to perform equipment maintenance. Study reservoir fluid phase behavior theory. Learn to maintain laboratory information management system. Calculate computer-generated data from bubble point and flash work. Understand pressure safety, including cylinder rating and equipment specifications. Maintain cleanliness of laboratory.
Experience / Qualifications:
A high school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor of Science degree preferred and at least two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
