Searching for a Director of Engineering with a rubber chemistry background involving rubber bonding agents for heavy industrial progressing cavity pumps for a permanent position in Northeast Georgia.
Responsibilities
Direct the designs of new and improved product lines for positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment and progressive cavity pumps
Manager and support the design teams for improved manufacturing and processes
Create a technical and engineering vision for the company and plan the implementation of new project development
Create budgets, allocate resources and determine schedules of product releases or project deadlines
Direct Test Department in pump testing analysis and dynamic test procedures for existing and new product development
Requirements
BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or technically related degree
6- 10 years of leadership experience directing design & development of positive displacement pumps, flow divider systems, down-hole drilling equipment, and progressing cavity pumps
Manages project engineers, CAD drafters, and test technicians
Hire, training work assignments, performance reviews, complaint resolution
Provide direction, coordination, and evaluation of Design Engineering
Rubber chemistry background in engineering and design involving bonding agents
