Description
 
Oversee, develop, coordinate and implement fleet safety program and other related training programs.
Administrate fleet safety award program.
Investigate vehicle accidents and evaluates potential measures of mitigation of liability of risk.
Monitor driver's motor vehicle records and validation.
Coordinate OSHA compliance on appropriate equipment.
Perform vehicle inspections for safety conformity and adherence to fleet policy.
Maintain operation and maintenance files for each vehicle and piece of equipment.
Administrate reporting parameters for vehicle and equipment standards.
May require some day/ovemight travel.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
 
Knowledge of principles, methods and practices pertaining to the overseeing of fleet maintenance and repair operations.
Knowledge of applications of automated fleet management records system.
Knowledge of sources of inventory supply and market and price trends.
Skill in operation of assigned vehicles and equipment.
Ability to keep accurate stock records.
Ability to make sound and reasonable decisions in accordance with laws, ordinances, regulations and established procedures.
Ability to follow standard safety practices and procedures common to equipment operation work and to maintain accurate records with fleet management program.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment while juggling multiple priorities.
Principles and methods used in the planning/coordination of an effective program for preventive maintenance.
Regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state and local guidelines (i.e., OSHA DOT, HAZMAT, EPA, ANSI)
Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines.
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications.
Able to leam company specific applications.
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other extemal contacts.
Valid state-issued US Drivers License.
 
Minimum Requirements
 
Bachelor's degree
3+ years prior work experience
