Job Description:
Manage a team of Customer Support Specialists for a defined market segment. Responsible for the daily activity of the call center and adherence to policies and procedures. Ensures metrics for service volume, timeliness, and customer service are met. Support overall sales efforts for
Eastern U.S. to meet $36 million in parts booking requirements, assisting customers in 28 eastern U.S. states, including Puerto Rico.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Lead the responsibility for incoming and outgoing sales calls for designated
accounts.
Lead the Inside Sales force on the proper implementation for quotations and processing purchase orders.
Assist with the support of the outside sales for all proposals and transactions.
Provide any transactional information to outside sales on any open orders.
Work with marketing to implement tactical marketing plans.
Responsible for inside sales process, efficiency and responsiveness.
Assist the Director of Aftermarket Customer Support with the development the policies and implement effective processes for the inside sales organization.
Assist the Area Sales Manager with sales reports, inventory analysis, and quotation activity of the Eastern U.S.
Manage local inventory levels to provide the appropriate inventory to support high usage parts and satisfy customer demands, and maintain company-wide mandated inventory values.
Coordinate efforts between shop sales and parts sales on machine shop repairs.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications Product knowledge, customer knowledge,
SAP processes, sales and financial policies and procedures, and supervisory skills.
Oral and written communications.
Microsoft Office experience including Word and Excel.
General office conditions with occasional visits to company manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Visits to customer installations and supplier facilities of varying environmental conditions
(indoor/outdoor, heated/unheated, noisy, etc) may be required.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred plus 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally
required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
