Job Description
Responsible for maximum customer service through the coordination, with other departments, of sales order and quotation requirements.
Enter and maintain customer and inter-division quotations and sales orders providing accurate and correct materials and services, prices and discounts, delivery and mode of shipment and conditions of sale.
Initiate a variety of actions with regard to inventory and equipment, supplies, repair services, shipping, manufacturing requests, expediting engineering work requests, product delivery, etc. for sales order fulfillment and purchase of accessory equipment.
Manage all other aspects of quotation and sales order management and processing.
Be a liaison between customers and other company departments - quotations, manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and project management - to ensure timely and accurate completion of quotations and order fulfillment.
Determine product availability, including investigating inventory conversion and substitution opportunities.
Coordinate customer/third party activities per terms of the purchase order, including engineering design reviews and production review and witness points.
Possess working knowledge of blow-out preventers (BOPs), and other drill through equipment.
Job Requirements/ Qualifications
High School diploma required. AAS Business degree / Supply Chain courses preferred. Minimum of 2 years work experience in a manufacturing, sales, or customer support environment. Knowledge of MS Office Applications.
Successfully manage sales desk responsibilities for inquires and orders for spare and replacement parts. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Experience with mud-line, BOPs, mux systems, and other drill through equipment would be a plus. SAP knowledge is a plus.
