With the recent success of a $40M+ capital raise, this proven CSG operator is now in a commanding position as they embark on a new exploration program within the most desired tenements throughout Queensland. Through good fortune and strategic arrangements, three of the most highly regarded CSG experts have come together to implement a full scale exploration/ field development program.
[Recruiter] has been called upon to identify an ambitious Drilling Engineer that will work out of their Brisbane CBD head office while maintaining a hands-on influence across field based drilling programs.
The nature of the work will include:
- Engineering, Casing design/ selection, preparation of drilling programs and execution of day-to-day rig operations
- Prepare AFE’s, monitor drilling operational costs and prepare budgetary reports
- Improve wellbore quality and operational performance
- Selection and procurement of drilling and production equipment
- Ensure wells achieve their key technical and cost objectives and meet HSE and quality standards
- Undertake rig specification requirements and conduct audits
To be considered for this opportunity you will need:
- 3 - 6 years experience as a drilling engineer within the oil & gas sector, preferably Coal Seam Gas Tertiary qualifications in petroleum or mechanical engineering
- A high level of computer literacy across a variety of industry software
- Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment
