Our client is providing project execution services to the Mining and Oil & Gas industries. They provide innovative engineering management and construction services to those sectors. To help with a major Oil & Gas project, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Key Position Accountabilities (but not limited to):
- Financial reporting information providing cash-flow analysis.
- Breakdown of projects regarding materials, scope of work and documentation.
- Estimation - Preliminary, Pre-tender, Evaluation, Contract Disputes.
- Assessment and recommendations for progress payments.
- Liaising with consultants, clients and builders.
- Variation assessment and negotiation with builders.
- Preparing financial reports for clients.
- Produce a Bill of Quantity.
To be considered, the successful candidate MUST have:
- Min 4 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Demonstrated project experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas and/or Construction sectors.
- Previous experience in the Electrical field important
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Previous site experience would be highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This is a Perth based role and successful candidates MUST be Australian citizens or MUST possess Permanent Residency as this is not a sponsored position.
