Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and a highly motivated Environmental Health & Safety Manager. [Company]has exploration and development projects in nine basins and a regional overthrust belt across the Rocky Mountains. We are looking for an individual that has experience in handling the environmental, health & safety programs for a growing field operations organization.
This position will report to the Manager of Governmental Affairs and will be responsible for all Company environmental, health & safety operations, as well as ensure that [Company]operations and contractor operations fully meet health and safety expectations. This position will manage [Company]dedicated field safety personnel.
This position will be located in our Denver, CO office with responsibilities extending to all [Company]areas in CO, UT and WY.
Experience / Qualifications:
This position will require a B.S. degree in a related physical science field with the related health/safety certifications or the equivalent mix of education and experience. A minimum of 10 years industry experience in a similar role is also specifically required for this position.
Must be inspired to ensure a safe, effective operation with all internal and external staff and able to motivate people to be safe in all job tasks and job responsibilities. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong computer skills. Must be a self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to accomplish multiple work objectives while meeting deadlines.
