Job Description:

Summary of position:
Responsible for responding to sales order status and expedite requests.
Expedite sales orders and documentation associated with sales order through Manufacturing and Quality Assurance.
 
Specific Duties and Accountability:
Respond to inquiries pertaining to order status from customers,
And responsibilities: field sales representatives and regional offices.
Ensure that commitments made to those parties requesting order status are followed up in a timely manner to insure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for coordinating and expediting drawing and procedure submittals for non-project type orders.
As identified by department manager, responsible for maintaining status for key customer accounts, regardless if the customer is expediting the/those particular order(s).
Responsible for expediting and/or furnishing various types of data to customers after the order has shipped.  Some examples are test reports, certificate of conformance, drawings and catalogs, Procedures and instruction manuals.
Responsible for initiating the tracing of lost shipments.
Identify, define and solve a multitude of problems.
Address customer problems that sometimes conflict with goals of the company.
When required, prepares, maintains and updates order status reports for those orders which involve in-house customer expediting.
On a daily basis review the dayline bookings report and notify rep/SSD offices and or customers of orders scheduled beyond requested ship date.
 
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or 5 years experience in a sales department environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing software and order processing systems. 
Excellent PC skills, excellent customer focus, time management skills. 
Familiarity with Tyco Valves & Controls product range including terms and conditions of sale preferred
Knowledge of ASME codes, API standards relating to valve industry.
