[Company] specializes in critical path planning for inactive wellsites and facilities, providing expertise in liability and environmental management to expedite the Reclamation Certification process.

Job Description/Responsibilities: 
 
  • As part of [Company]’s Environmental Assessment and Remediation group, preference will be given to applicants holding a designation as a P. Eng., P. Geol., and willing to spend up to 60 percent of their time in the field conducting Phase II and Phase III ESAs throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Scheduling shift work is an option.
  • Applicants must have expertise in a variety of site-specific remediation and risk management strategies with a strong focus on the elimination of liability.
 
Applicants must possess strong communication, organization, and critical problem solving skills, as well as the ability to persevere on long term projects. Applicants must have experience conducting site assessments, field testing and analyses, and prepare written reports, including thorough reviews, conclusions and recommendations. Applicants must have confidence around heavy machinery and managing crews. We are looking for responsible and efficient professionals who are eager to strive for excellence.
 
Qualifications: 
 
  • P. Eng., P. Geol. designation is preferred. Other professional designations will be considered given clearance of experience. Applicant must have worked directly in the Alberta, Saskatchewan, or BC oil and gas market.
  • Experience Required: 5 to 10 years experience is required. An agricultural background is an asset.
