Responsibilities:
The Engineering Intern will be assigned to either a field location, or an office location in Denver, or Houston. First year engineering internships will likely be in a field office where the successful intern will exposed to the details of field operations while learning in a hands on environment. This assignment will provide exposure to drilling, new well completions, measurement, and production operations to the extent possible. Second year engineering interns will likely be assigned to an office location in Denver, Corpus Christi or Houston. These interns will contribute to a Regional Business Team and will learn the economic application of their engineering skills to the oil & gas business. Every Engineering Intern will be given a project with economic impact to evaluate, design, and implement during their assignment. Each Intern will also have exposure to Executive Leadership of the Production Company when they present their project at the conclusion of their assignment.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Working towards Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Self-motivated with demonstrated interpersonal skills
Ability to function effectively in both a team and individually environment
Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential.
Driven to discover and determined to deliver.
