Description
The entry level Petroleum Engineer will provide a broad range of engineering support to the Regional Businesses. The successful candidate will participate in El Paso's Engineering Development Program. The program will provide rotational opportunities in multiple engineering disciplines including drilling, production, reservoir, and completions. The program will also provide exposure to multiple producing environments including, onshore, offshore, deep, shallow, oil, and coal bed. Engineers in the Development Program will be assigned to one of several Regional Business Teams and will immediately be asked to contribute to significant projects with real-world capital exposure. Upon completion of the Development Program, the engineer will have input on their permanent assignment to one of the Regional Teams in a specific engineering discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Self-motivated with demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Ability to function effectively in both a team and individually environment
- Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential.
- Driven to discover and determined to deliver.
