Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead the product line vitality for LM Family, multi generational product development, new product development and competitiveness (deflation/cost out/product quality).
  • Lead product management team in performing competitive assessments, integrating market analysis and customer/market segmentation to identify key areas of focus for product development/growth
  • Develop and lead cost out strategy and implementation, and go to market strategies to effectively manage overall product line profitability
  • Provide leadership for existing product lines during annual business planning processes – Multi Generation Product Planning, Long Term Strategic Sessions and
  • Following Year Budget Operating Board of Director reviews
  • Work closely with Marketing, Configuration Management Team, Commercial and
  • Engineering Teams to develop comprehensive commercialization plans and tools for new products
  • Lead dynamic, cross-functional teams to meet internal product line business commitments and customer expectations in the marketplace
  • Own and execute Strategic Sessions Deliverables and Cost Out Action Plan. Actively integrate rigor into new product introduction process, managing the prioritization of the NPI budget
 
Qualifications/Requirements
  • MS Degree with Engineering background
  • Demonstrable Product Management and/or Marketing Leadership Experience.
  • Requires proven communication skills and cross-functional breadth to provide strong leadership and direction to product teams.
  • Strong analytical and statistical data-driven skills. Must be able to develop and present new product business cases, cost/benefit analysis, economic modeling, and resourcing plans.
  • Must be able to energize teams at all levels of the organization and effectively balance multiple initiatives.
  • Requires a self-motivated individual with high energy and assertiveness to work in a fast paced environment with limited direction.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
 
Desired Characteristics
  • MBA
  • Demonstrable experience in Product Management and/or Marketing Leadership with a Technical Product Line would be a plus
  • Demonstrable experience in business development, IP and/or business integration experience
  • Experience in Aeroderivatives Application Engineering and/or Engineering equivalent
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.
