The Edison Engineering Program Manager is responsible for leading the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) for the Oil&Gas business. EEDP is an intensive 24 months program for people who have a passion for technology, a drive for technical excellence, and share in [Company] core values. The program is designed to accelerate participants’ professional development through intense technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments.
Essential Responsibilities
You will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including:
- Developing and revising course curriculum, according to student and [Company] business trends and needs;
- Scheduling and attending all course classes;
- Teaching selected portions of the courses;
- Selecting, developing qualified technical experts as course instructors;
- Grading course homework;
- Proctoring course attendance and collecting feedback and driving key metrics;
- Define and drive a strategic and high-quality Early Engineering Development Program (EEDP);
- Manage the onboarding, placement, rotational assignments, assessment process and other administrative activities for the Edison Program;
- Proactively develop future engineering skill sets and staffing needs across the business;
- Provide advice and counsel regarding career planning and assist with off-program placement;
- Provide key interface role with technology leadership team and technology human resources;
- Leverage existing EEDP programs, program managers, best practices and business leaders to determine a long-term and proactive strategy that serves as a robust entry-level engineering and sciences pipeline into the organization;
- Identify and recruit from top universities and programs that provide next generation skill sets;
- Develop tracking mechanisms to measure and communicate success;
- Enhance technology diversity recruitment and retention efforts across early hire programs;
- Develop Technical Career Path for Oil & Gas Engineering.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Engineering Degree with minimum 5 years in Program/Project Management.
- +2 years experience in recruiting (identifying, recruiting and retaining strong technical members).
- Demonstrated experience on global cross-functional teams having success driving programs and strategic segment initiatives.
- Experienced with key business tools such as Change Acceleration (CAP), LEAN, etc. to drive decision and change.

- Skilled at developing and driving program risk mitigation plans, solutions and closure.
- Demonstrated ability to develop these solutions by gathering the necessary information/solutions and ideas.
