The Burnaby Office is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contaminated sites investigations and soil and groundwater remediation planning. In addition to project work, business development/client relations, staff supervision and mentoring are important aspects of the position. It is expected the candidate will be self-motivated, and will demonstrate excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering or other directly relevant earth sciences discipline;
Eligibility for registration with the BC Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists and the BC Contaminated Sites Roster of Professional Experts
Ten or more years of relevant consulting engineering or industry experience, including experience at a supervisory/ project management level;
Knowledge of Provincial and Federal Environmental Regulations;
Experience managing all stages and phases of environmental site assessments, including remediation and environmental permitting;
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills;
A strong commitment to health and safety
