Geotechnical Engineering Manager
As the Geotechnical Engineering Manager you will…
1. Communicate and liaise with clients.
2. Develop departmental objectives and ensure they are met.
3. Ensure training and mentoring at all levels.
4. Promote growth and diversification of the department.
5. Ensure that corporate objectives are discussed with personnel and are being met.
6. Implement business development and obtain projects to achieve department budget targets.
7. Provide operating supervision and coordination and career development plans of personnel.
8. Responsible for Permit to Practice within the Geotechnical Engineering group.
9. Liaise with other Manager’s and offices.
10. Implement and participate in improvements to the Quality Management System.
11. Provide quarterly reports to the VP of Engineering.
12. Develop yearly budget and expenditure forecast for the department.
Education, Training, Skills & Experience
1. Post secondary education and registration with APEGGA with appropriate combination of education and experience.
2. Excellent communication and computer skills.
3. 10+ years’ previous geotechnical engineering experience at a management level.
