Essential Job Duties:
The area of responsibility contains high pressure, high rate flowing gas wells, flowing oil wells, and pumping oil wells. Future methods of production could include ESP and gas lift. Duties include coordination and supervision of operations and maintenance of surface facilities and well site surface equipment, supervising initial and special well testing activities, monitoring routine well testing, ensuring HES compliance in area of responsibility, and providing guidance for area operators. This individual will be expected to provide feedback to Production Coordinator, Operations Engineers, and Facilities Engineers regarding improvements, changes, and future plans. This individual will be subject to weekend duty on a scheduled basis and call out duty on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Excellent time management and planning skills.
10 or more years of experience in oilfield production operations. Good working knowledge of surface facilities and well site surface equipment.
Team player/good interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle more than one job at a time.
Excellent communications skills, including ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports.
Good computer skills.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience with high pressure flowing wells, includes wells with subsurface and surface safety valves.
Prior experience in well testing.
Prior experience with field automation and well surveillance.
Prior experience in oilfield construction.
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology.
