Our client an innovative start-up in the manufacturing industry is looking for a new Controller to assist with the daily accounting, financial reporting and general management of their office. This publicly traded company requires a knowledgeable and efficient thinker who has proven experience in developing start-ups.
In this role your daily responsibilities will include the following:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end financial reporting packages
- Prepare MDA for Audit committee
- Manage profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements;
- Establish, maintain and ensure effective internal financial controls exist;
- Prepare all audit documentation requirements and run financial analysis.
- Ad hoc reporting
- Ensures industry regulations and legal requirements are met
- Work efficiently and find ways of improvement for the MRP system
The chosen applicant will have the following qualifications:
- Accounting designation- CA highly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years post designation experience with 5 years experience in a publicly traded company
- Must have Manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of full cycle accounting and MRP/ERP systems
- Strong communications skills especially in report writing
- Proven Leadership and team building skills
- Decisive, proactive and positive attitude
This company is offering a base salary ranging from $100,000 - $110,000 per annum dependant upon industry experience with a potential bonus. Other benefits include full medical and dental, LTD, vision plus 3 weeks of vacation with 13 flex days.
