Working on the site of one of the worlds largest Oilsands projects you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your scientific skills and knowledge. If you have experience in a petroleum laboratory environment, you may be the individual we are looking for. If you have management experience there may be additional opportunities for you within our client's organization.
Key responsibilities:
- Design laboratory analytical programs to support oil sand production and upgrading
- Prepare reports and data deliverables
- Acts as a resource to management and staff as required in order to work toward continuous improvement of both internal laboratory processes and internal and external customer satisfaction
Education requirements and qualifications:
- Post secondary education , B.Sc. or M. Sc. degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with instrumentation
- Experience in method development, sample handling and chain of custody
- Strong analytical problem solving skills and documentation skills
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Extensive experience with computer programs
