You will be responsible for: performing engineering and economic evaluations on individual producer's oil and gas properties to determine the orphan liability risk that a company poses to the province; modeling and forecasting the cost of future orphan liability risk presented by an individual company or the entire oil and gas industry; reviewing Licensee Liability Rating (LLR) appeals submitted by oil and gas producers; and reviewing well and facility licence transfer applications made by an oil and gas company for the purpose of calculating a new LLR and security deposit requirements.
To qualify for this position, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and be registered (or eligible for registration) in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.
