Brief Description:
Operate and supervise [Company]Services drilling rig including drilling, rig mobilization and demobilization, repairs and maintenance of all drilling rig equipment.
Detailed Description:
Manage shift operations of Newfield Services drilling rig. Responsible for the transportation of the crew to and from the drill site. Perform minor maintenance and repair on drilling rig including, but not limited to, engines, drawworks, BOPE, mud pumps, and light plant. Complete daily drillers’ log and other company reports.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as a driller or relief driller. Working knowledge of all drilling related equipment. Should have prior supervisory experience of personnel. Ensure that [Company]Drilling Services’ contractors, vendors, and employees comply with Newfield Drilling Services’ procedures. Proven record of working independently, under little direct supervision. Successful candidate will have good communication skills and demonstrate a strong desire to apply innovative ideas in the field.
