Role synopsis
Deliver recruiting activities to the Business Service Centre in[Location] , from advertising jobs through to onboarding of new joiners.
Key accountabilities
- Seek out, interview, and test applicants to locate qualified employees for job openings
- Manage day-to-day relationship with recruiting agency(ies)
- Manage on-boarding process to new-joiners
- Visit universities and colleges to interview promising students for employment, as required
- Select applicants from resumes that job seekers send to the company
- Gather information that enables assessment of applicants' technical skills, education, work history, personality, salary requirements, and managerial abilities
- Inform candidates of company benefits and job opportunities
- Give promotional presentations, as required
- Maintain files on applicants, including results on tests and outcomes of interviews
- Oversee checking of applicants' references.
- Understand and implement the government's guidelines on discrimination
Essential criteria & qualifications
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a recruitment role within large complex organisations.
