Role synopsis
To service and manage all Distributors within the assigned territory. A Distributor is a business partner and an extension to the company business, and the Sales Executive will be responsible for the successful implementation of a business plan for each Distributor. This will include the use of the World Class Sales Call (WCSC), ensuring the Distributor advocates the company products and services correctly, managing the Distributor profitability and providing Distributors with all the required support to deliver value to customers.
 
Key accountabilities
  • Health Safety Environment: To ensure full compliance to all HSE and Ethis standards. The Sales Executive informing distributors of the HSE and Ethis standards of the company. Appropriate training and development plans for the Distributors business will need to be identified and communicated to Sales Training. The Sales Executive will also be responsible for managing the implementation of the training initiatives.
  • Growth: To achieve and exceed Sell In and Sell Out Volume and Value targets for the Arena. The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving the Volume and Value targets for Castrol and/or [Company] brands within the designated territory. This responsibility is NOT confined to the Sell In volumes/values only; the Sales Executive will also be responsible for the Sell Out volumes/values of all Distributors (ie The Secondary Sales).
  • Efficiency: To maximize Efficiency and Productivity. The Sales Executive will be responsible for ensuring the Company's resources are fully utilized for the mutual benefit of the company and all customers. The Sales Executive must plan and execute a journey plan that maximizes sales and the best use of the in-call time. Sales Executive is responsible for supplying accurate sales forecasts.
  • Customer: Ensuring Distributors are managed in a world-class way. The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering value to Distributors through the professional delivery of a WCSC. In addition, the Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing a business plan for the distributor. The Distributor relationship must be based on good business practice. A regular business review must be conducted with the Distributor
  • People: To identify the training needs of the Distributor and communicate to the Sales Training function. The Sales Executive is responsible for self-development. This will achieved through the proactive interaction with line manager and the development of an appropriate PDP (Personal Development Plan) In addition, the Sales Executive is responsible for the Distributor Sales Representatives coaching and identification of Distributor training needs, the communication there of to Sales Training and the scheduling of such training
  • Marketing: Ensuring implementation of sales and marketing initiatives. The SE will be responsible for communicating all Sales and Marketing initiatives to the Distributor. This must be done in advance of launch date, thus allowing for WC (World Class) implementation. This would also include the reporting back of successes and suggestions for improvements.
 
 
Essential criteria & qualifications
 
Skills:
  • Good business knowledge
  • Strong selling /interpersonal / negation / distributor management
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer interfacing.
 
Educational Qualification/ Certification:
  • Graduate with BS, BA from premier institutes
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing
  • Language: Fluency in Vietnamese & Good English
