Located in the heart of downtown, our client is a leader in the field of engineering, design and science and they are currently seeking a designated Chartered Accountant to assist in their Financial Analysis - External Reporting department.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst and working closely with a small, close-knit team, you will identifiy and track Canadian / US GAAP and IFRS reporting. You will monitor changes to these standards and notify your partner departments of the implications and impacts that these changes may have. You will utilize your research abilities in answering queries of your sister departments including Treasury, Internal Financial Analysis, Taxation and many other professionals in your pursuit to remain current and set industry standards.
Maintaining a calm demeanor with a deadline driven mentality will be key factors of this role. You will benefit in working with consummate professionals and participating in high level management meetings, a diverse and varying work load which will include MD&A and a number of ongoing projects.
