The Subsea Systems Tendering team supports tendering activities related to major subsea production system projects worldwide. The team operates out of the [Company] Headquarter at [Company] and currently employs 15 highly skilled personnel.
We are searching for a motivated individual with relevant background to fill the position as:
Cost Estimator
The position reports to the Vice President of Tendering, Norway and Africa region.
Work tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Compile and develop cost/price estimates for tendering purposes.
- Consolidate data from SAP, Business control, Commodity groups and Manufacturing department.
- Set up and present cost estimates, benchmarks and commercial assumptions to [Company] Management.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of estimation tools and templates.
- Work as an active team player in the Subsea Systems Tendering Department.
Education, experience and competencies:
- Economist or Engineer with experience from finance management, cost control or tendering.
- We apply primary for candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience, but graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Efficient and in-depth knowledge of MS Excel is a prerequisite, SAP experience is an advantage.
- English skills both written and verbal.
