Our team members are passionate about resource renewal and sustainability, and apply both knowledge and technology to deliver life cycle solutions for both public and private sector clients. We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and waste water process design, water supply, water collection, conveyance, pumping, and storage/storm water management.
Responsibilities:
Due to growth, [Company]'s Red Deer office has an immediate opportunity for a Process/Civil CAD Designer. This office has over 130 people supporting our clients' projects locally and across Canada.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of engineering design drawings concerning various process mechanical and civil applications which may include:
- Pump stations,
- Reservoirs,
- Water and wastewater treatment facilities,
- Lift stations,
- Water and wastewater piping.
Qualifications:
- A diploma from a recognized Engineering Design Drafting technology, Civil Engineering technology or related 2 year diploma program.
- Minimum of three years related experience.
- Proven design drafting skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Land Development Desktop.
- ASET (Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists) membership or be eligible for membership within 1 year.
- A strong desire to work as part of a larger team.
- Field experience in any of the above noted facilities will be considered an asset.
- Review and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
- Mature and selfless work ethic.
- Long term commitment to the position and the career.
