We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.
Our Red Deer Alberta office has an opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Modeling Engineer.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Water and stormwater modeling.
- Preparation of stormwater management plans, proposals and study reports.
- Field Investigation
- Detail Design.
- Construction cost estimating
- Preparation of tenders
- Client liaison
- Supervision of technical staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience with water and wastewater analysis and design, stormwater management design and routing software, and hydraulic modeling.
- Experienced in hydrological and hydraulic modeling with a background in water distribution systems.
- Knowledge of transient analysis.
- Experience with river modeling software is an asset.
- Take initiative to learn how to maximize currently used software.
