Our services are offered through over 10,000 employees operating out of more than 130 locations in North America.
Our Indoor Environment team has successfully completed a wide and diverse range of industrial hygiene and indoor environment assessments and cost effective remediation strategies for hazardous materials and mold.
Our work enables our clients to understand potential risks and proactively act on cost-effective remediation strategies that meet all regulatory requirements. The results - healthier, more productive facilities and operations and greater comfort for their staff and tenants.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring the Indoor Environment team.
- Conducting and reporting on hazardous materials assessments which may include asbestos, lead, PCB's, ozone depleting substances and mold.
- Conducting, reporting and interpreting indoor air quality assessments.
- Conducting, reporting and interpreting on hazardous materials abatement projects.
- Liaising with and directing the work of hazardous materials abatement contractors.
- Supporting Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Preparing proposals for various Indoor Environment projects.
- Guide industrial hygiene staff.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in environmental sciences from a recognized post secondary institution.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience with progressively increasing responsibilities preferably in a consulting environment specifically in industrial hygiene and indoor environment.
- Experience must include the following:
- Leading technical teams of people
- Business development
- A strong desire to grow in your career with [Company].
- Registration as a Canadian Registered Safety Professionals would be considered an asset.
