We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.
Responsibilities:
[Company]'s Red Deer office is currently seeking a Physical Hydrogeologist to join our environmental infrastructure group. Our Red Deer office has over 130 employees serving our clients locally, provincially and across Canada.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and conduct groundwater investigations
- Design and conduct field [projects to map hydrogeological features.
- Provide technical expertise and assist in the leadership of the Environmental Infrastructure group.
- Assist in client liaison and business development.
- Write and review proposal and technical reports.
- Mentoring of other staff.
Qualifications:
- Masters' degree in Geology form an accredited university is preferred.
- Registered as a P.Geol. in Alberta, or be eligible for membership within 1 year.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Hydrogeologist.
- A strong desire to grow your career, mentor others and work within a strong team setting.
- Practical ability to problem solve in various sectors particularly in agricultural, municipal and commercial settings.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
Located in Central Alberta, the Red Deer office has a vibrant environment with excellent opportunities for professional growth. Red Deer is a family oriented community of approximately 90,000 residents with recreational facilities, park system and a variety of schools. Red Deer is within 1 ½ hours of the two largest cities in Alberta; Calgary and Edmonton.
