[Company] is actively searching for an Assistant Manager for the Estevan Wireline Station. This station provides Open, Case and Slickline services throughout the area. Relocation assistance for the successful candidate is available for this opportunity. The role will provide leadership and assist the District Manager with the operation, safety and financial success of the Station.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Assists in the establishment of long and short term goals; carries out appropriate actions as required to ensure goals are met.
- Establishes and/or expands market share for the area.
- Assists with the development of budgets and controls costs/expenses.
- Properly mans the units with trained personnel and ensures units have proper tools in order to meet operational demands.
- Liaison between sales and manager; and provide sales personnel with market/activity information.
- May be required to perform local sales duties.
- Ensures customers receive quality product and service.
- Oversees safety requirements including training, weekly meetings, documentation.
- Practices sound inventory control.
- Responsible for employee related issues such as hiring, scheduling and training
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated industry leadership skills and experience (approx. 5 years).
- Previous experience as an Intermediate/Senior field supervisor
- Well-developed communication skills in order to deal effectively with internal personnel and outside individuals /organizations
- Comprehensive experience in the wireline industry
- A proven history of excellent customer service performance
