Description
[Company] is looking to hire a EH&S Field Specialist for its
Fayetteville Operations based in Searcy, AR. The EH&S position will provide technical assistance to field personnel for the implementation of EH&S policies and procedures. The position will work with the operations staff to collect and maintain required EHS data. In addition, this position will work closely with Corporate EH&S staff to provide interpretation, clarification and provide EHS training.
Primary duties will include monitoring for regulatory compliance, overseeing contractor EHS conformance and compliance, establishing local regulatory relationships, conduct accident/incident investigations, providing EHS training to company employees and oversight of remediation and clean-up projects to name a few.
Coordinating with EH&S Air Group and Midcon representatives to schedule facility air emissions testing
Conducting and documenting periodic facility inspections to comply with corporate and permit requirements
Coordinate with Midcon and the third party compliance testing contractor to set actual test dates and witness testing work.
Gather facility information and prepare/submit reports as required.
Review new construction plans and coordinate with interested parties supporting permitting and compliance efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements for this position are operations experience in the oil and gas industry along with knowledge of applicable statutes and regulations.
- Experience in a safety, regulatory, environmental or compliance position is a plus.
- Must have ability to function in field conditions and inclement weather.
- Position will require for significant, regional travel with some overnight stays required.
