 IT is structured with three delivery groups:
Business partners team with business units to translate their strategies and needs into value through effective implementation of information services
Functional leadership provides strategy, policy, compliance, enterprise architecture, vendor relations, information security and privacy expertise
Leveraged service centers provide scale and expertise for services that include application development and support, personal computing, telecommunications, data center operations and customer support.
 
Responsibilities:
The Vulnerability Management Specialist will be responsible for:
Performing penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on [Company] assets
Coordinating the work of third parties who are conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
Recommending technical solutions to address security vulnerabilities
Preparing remediation options for and monitoring correction of security vulnerabilities
Analyzing security logs and network traffic to assess and prioritize intrusion attempts, including tuning the rules to eliminate false positives
Complex analysis of security events from disparate logs, including writing scripts to identify events requiring further analysis
Translating Company information protection policies and standards into technical implementation guidance
 
Basic Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree
Active U.S. Government SECRET or above security clearance
 
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related Information Technology Field
5 or more years of direct experience in information security in a technical role including:
Penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
Intrusion prevention systems
Forensic analysis
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to influence
