Essential Job Duties:
- Provide day-to-day operational security support services for the continuous protection of the IT networking and server infrastructure from unauthorized external & internal access and malicious electronic attacks.
- Antivirus operations management, deployment, infection mitigation for multiple environments across the enterprise.
- Respond to Active Directory (AD) business requests including account administration, permissions, delegation and domain controller support.
- Assisting in all Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessments (CSVAs) to ensure Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATs) compliance.
- Participate in periodic security audits relating to COBIT / SOX and Internal Controls (ICNA).
- Participate in the provisioning process to ensure security controls are applied using enterprise management tools such as Enterprise Configuration Manager (ECM).
- Cyber / digital log reviews and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work exp.
- 1+ years direct exp. in the enterprise security space.
- 1+ years working with corporate spam, anti-virus, anti-spyware software products.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP and network routing protocols including, but not limited to, understanding of DNS in both Bind and Active Directory implementations.
- 1+ years working with Windows NT/2000/2003/XP desktops and servers in a corporate environment including security patching and trouble shooting.
- 1+ years experience with certificates, both third party PKI and Microsoft implementations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals from numerous IT disciplines.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Willing to provide off-hours support as required.
- Working knowledge of Nessus, ISS, Retina or equivalent scanning tools.
- Experience in IDS, vulnerability assessments, security monitoring and incident response in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience with UNIX / Linux operating systems.
- VBscript / Windows Shell scripting.
- Experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
