Location: Port Arthur, Texas, United States

Position Description:
Review and Reconcile Rail inventory daily
Compose inventory and loading reports daily for Terminal Management and Clients
Review and update schedule with respect to train and vessel arrival
Tracks and coordinates training status and needs of Terminal personnel
Keeps terminal staff and client and managers abreast of any changes to schedule of trains and/or vessels
Assists with other administrative duties as required
Establishes and maintains effective electronic and hardcopy filing systems
Maintains Outlook Calendar for assigned personnel and schedules meetings and conferences
Prepares departmental correspondence, reports, records, and other documents
Provide general and account information in regards to customer inquiries
Act as a liaison between Inter-Company departments and customers
Provide general office duties; such as typing, filing, faxing, mail sorting, answering phones, order processing and producing bills of lading
Work in other areas as needed, such as ship loading operations
 
Position Requirements:
Customer oriented and able to work in a team environment
-3 years experience in customer service (preferably with bulk) and inventory control
High proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) for the purpose of word processing, spreadsheets and information retrieval.
Working knowledge of standard office equipment
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals,  fractions)
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information professionally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and properly set priorities
Must be willing to work overtime hours during the week, weekends and/or holidays as dictated by operations.
In order to appropriately perform the essential duties of this job, regular work attendance is required.
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and have willingness to use personal and/or company vehicle in the course of employment.
Must pass and complete any required [Company] specific safety training as may be required by customers and as required at all [Company] work locations.
