Job Description:
The Operational Excellence Sr. Analyst for [Company] CO2 will report to the director of Operational Excellence and play a leading role in identifying and executing improvement opportunities in operations, both in capacity and technology, as well in economically. This position will also serve as the company champion and operational IT liaison for Exploration and Production information technology improvement, consistency and quality assurance. The successful candidate will possess above average troubleshooting, analysis and solution making skills. The successful candidate will also be able to lead special projects teams from diverse parts of the company on ad-hoc projects to resolve specific, special issues. The successful candidate will also possess the leadership presence to assure successful progress and completion of these projects, and be able to successfully articulate and present them to peers and management.
Position Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (Petroleum engineering, Process engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering) from an accredited university
- Masters degree in business highly desired (MBA, Finance, Marketing) from an accredited, regionally or nationally recognized business school.
- Minimum 10 years of Operational Efficiency Analysis experience, with minimum of 5 years of experience delivering tangible, demonstrable efficiency and capacity improvement results in oil and gas operations.
- Strong experience leading complex projects, able to demonstrate successful project completion on time and on budget.
- Some experience leading or serving as project manager for Oil exploration/production automation and/or information management projects.
- Have good familiarity with Oil Production data management, production engineering, and reservoir surveillance.
- Lead a diverse range of oilfield and information management projects and ad-hoc teams by being a highly effective communicator, with the ability to transmit a vision, work well with a multidisciplinary team, and carry the common goals through to successful conclusion.
- Deliver results team results by being able to positively influence and persuade diverse team members, as well as incorporate and respect their contributions and ideas.
- Experience applying recognized continuous improvement techniques to achieve enhanced operational/production efficiency.
- Ability to effectively supervise and direct others
