Duties:
In support of several attorneys: create and maintain project and other legal files; prepare and submit expense reports and invoices; assist with travel arrangements; conduct minor research assignments; transcript or edit contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents; maintain calendars; coordinate meetings, teleconferences, and other events.
Requirements:
Ability to multitask, and prioritize with ease. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as organizational abilities are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft suite products (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint). Willingness to work overtime when necessary (occasional but not frequent). Ability to accept cursory instructions and initiate questions. Willingness to learn various database and other IT systems used throughout enterprise and to continually improve technical proficiencies. Demonstrate outstanding proofreading and attention to detail skills. Experience in discretely handling confidential materials and matters. Strong work ethic and attendance record.
Preferable: Flexible work schedule; prior oil and gas or legal department experience; proficiency with Delta View and Adobe Acrobat; some college education.
