Job Description:
This position completes Annual Audit Plan by participating on examination engagements to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and rules of regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans in identifying risk areas and determining scope and theory to be followed on assigned internal audit projects.
Prepares internal audit programs and internal audit questionnaires on assigned internal audits.
Supervises and reviews Associate Internal Auditor's work or projects where functioning as lead auditor.
Prepares Letter of Recommendations to management on assigned internal audit projects.
Participates in discussions of findings of internal audit projects with affected personnel.
Appraises corrective action taken to improve deficiencies noted in internal audit projects.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or the equivalent education typically required. Pursuing CPA or Certified Internal Auditor designation typically required. Minimum 3 years internal auditing or public accounting experience.
