Description
Level I / II
- Perform basic wellhead assembly, disassembly, testing and painting functions with minimum supervision
- Evaluation and inspection of used wellhead equipment and gate valves
- Repair (under supervision) used oilfield equipment and gate valves
- Base understanding and knowledge of API, QA and QPM
- Maintain inventory for all identified components and sub-assemblies for re-conditioned wellhead equipment and valve repair
- Familiarization with accepted costing, billing, paperwork associated with repairs
Level III
- Demonstrated competency on all level I / II responsibilities
- Hydro test equipment to 150000 psi
- Responsible for complying with safety reporting requirements and regulations relating to both Weatherford and external customers
- Satisfactory completion and review of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) as it relates to the task at hand
- Wellhead assembly, disassembly, testing and painting functions (unsupervised)
- Evaluate, inspect and repair used wellhead equipment and gate valves (unsupervised)
- Ability to understand and interpret API, QA and QPM
- Orientation to JD Edwards
- Learn to read blueprints
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Valid class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
- Safety minded individual with the willingness to receive ongoing mandatory training as a condition of employment
- Attention to detail
- Prior oilfield and forklift experience an asset
- Base knowledge of [Company] product line
- Must be able to work overtime when required
Required training (to be provided)
- JDE computer training
- Ongoing JSA, API, QA, QM training
- Hydro testing to specifications
- General knowledge to competitors equipment
- Learn basic troubleshooting on [Company]/competitors equipment
