[Company] is currently seeking a motivated, knowledgeable individual to join our Drilling Services Team as a NDT (R&M) Inspector.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Clean, prepare and inspect drilling tubulars including;
- mud motors
- jars
- collars and subs
- Wire wheel threads and critical areas
- Inspect threads by means of Magnetic Particle or Liquid Penetrant
- De-bur threads and reface seal surface
- Bead blast threads and seal
- Take I.D., O.D. and tally measurements
- Take emergency repair calls
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Communicate to Supervisor any unsafe working conditions that are observed and adhere to safe working procedures
- Actively participate in all safety meetings
Qualifications
Working Knowledge of:
- Downhole Tools
- Bottom Hole Assembly
- Thread types
- Seal Refacing
- Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (prefably level II)
- Hardworking
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Ability to work overtime (evenings and weekends) as required
- Valid Drivers Liscense
- Position will involve frequent heavy lifting
- Computer skills an assest
- Team Player with positive attitude
