[Company] is a recognized industry leader in the design, manufacturing and deployment of oilfield products aiding oil and gas production worldwide.
Presently, [Company]- in Swan Hills Alberta is recruiting for a Pump Shop Specialist/ Manager relating to Reciprocating Rod Pumps and associated equipment. The person in this position is responsible overseeing the entire operation of the Pump Shop activities on a day to day basis.
Duties Include:
- Repair of Reciprocating Rod Pumps
- Supervision, guidance, and support for staff
- Acts as a resource and mentor to employees in the Pump shop
- Assists with vendor ordering
- In depth customer relations relating to product and service
- Requires broad spectrum of job information and knowledge of product
- Supporting company/store goals & objectives and continual process and quality improvement initiatives.
- Successfully completing and also ensuring compliance from staff relating to mandatory safety courses as designated by [Company].
- Compliance with all safety regulations and company policies including overseeing written job procedures/ Job Safety Analysis for the assigned area
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience with Rod Lift Pumps
- Being able to work as part of a team atmosphere
- Appropriate supervisory/managerial skills capable of getting work done through other people.
- Superior organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and in written form
- Demonstrated negotiation and mediation skills in dealing with customers, staff, and vendors
- Safety minded individual
- Ability to constructively convey and represent company/store goals
