Description
- Organize and maintain respective shift crews on a daily basis to ensure that they are working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure that the motors and jars are serviced correctly and are done so to the latest specifications communicated to them through the shop coordinator.
- Ensure that the motor / jar shop equipment maintenance logs are up to date.
- Ensure that the equipment and the personnel are all working in a safe and responsible manner and that all applicable PPE is being used in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Enforce documented policies and procedures and carry out disciplinary action in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensure that production is maintained to the documented standards and accurately log production information in the database.
- Investigate and provide detailed reports for all field incidents
- Provide backup for the shop coordinator when required.
- Ability to travel abroad if required
Qualifications
- Must have worked a minimum of one year in a similar role with hands on experience of assembly and disassembly of various motor and jar configurations
- Must be able to work well with others in a team atmosphere
- Be mechanically inclined
- Be able to lift heavy loads
- Possess basic math skills
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Must be highly organized
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a typing speed of 40 WPM minimum
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Software - particularly Word and Excel applications
- Must be trained in all applicable SAP processes and procedures
