The Scouting Lead will report to the Project Supervisor and will:
- Be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
- Work scheduled field rotations of 15 days in and 6 days off
- Use ATVs to travel to remote sites
- Maintain their equipment
- Navigate to set locations using GPS
- Flag core hole leases and access
- Previous Forestry experience is an asset
- Ability to navigate in remote locations using both GPS and map and compass
- Safety tickets an asset (ATV Rider, First Aid & CPR ...)
- Ability to work independently
- Physically fit
- Hard working and shows resilience in stressful situations
- Mechanical aptitude
- Desire to work outdoors
