Job Description:
- Lead software development team in the development and implementation of Fekete’s next generation of Pressure Transient Analysis software.
- Conduct research and development focusing on deconvolution for production data and pressure transient analysis for tight gas reservoirs.
- Contribute mathematical modeling theory and experience to the continued development of Fekete common module applications.
- Collaborate with the Software Development Group Manager in optimizing development strategies and work flows.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Post-Graduate degree (minimum M.Sc) in Petroleum Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Strong mathematics and simulation background.
- 5+ years experience in a research and development environment preferably in oil & gas.
- Excellent computer skills including working knowledge and/or proficient user of the following:
- Mathematica
- MS Office
- CMG
- C/C++
- Matlab
- Time management skills – ability to meet R&D and project deadlines on multiple projects.
- Demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills.
